About Oswego, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Oswego is a small unincorporated community located in Plain Township, Kosciusko County, Indiana. It is located about 130 miles southeast of Chicago, Illinois and about 130 miles of Indianapolis, Indiana. The town was laid out in 1837 and a United States Postal Service office was established 3 years later. The post office operated until 1935 when it was discontinued.

Oswego is comprised of small streets and quaint homes. It is home to the Oswego Church and Calvary Baptist Church. Also located in the community are Coin Laundrymat, Rookstool’s Pier Shop, and Oswego Mini Mart. Located a short distance from the community are the Tippy Dance Hall and Tippecanoe Lake Country Club. Residents of Oswego have plenty of opportunities to boat, swim, ski, and fish on Lake Oswego and Lake Tippecanoe. Although the community is small, there are many things to see and do.

Oswego is located in a climate that experiences four distinct seasons. It is recommended that Oswego residents have easy access to heating and cooling systems. These systems help residents stay safe and comfortable inside their homes when temperatures reach extreme levels. During the months of December, January, and February, daytime temperatures vary from the low-30s to low-40s. At night, temperatures dip well below freezing. Also, snow showers are common in Oswego. Heat pumps are best suited to protect homes from potential damages and to keep residents warm and comfortable in their homes. In contrast, temperatures throughout the summer seasons average in the low-80s. However, it is not uncommon for temperatures to rise to the 90s when heat waves pass through the community. Central air conditioning units are best suited to keep Oswego residents cool and comfortable in their homes when temperatures rise. Heating and cooling systems may literally be lifesavers, so it is necessary for residents to have them installed in their homes.
